Everything this publication does is on this page. The rule that decides who is listed, the 18 questions every book is asked, the four bands those answers sort them into, and the reason there is no order inside a band.

The rule, in full
Every registered book, sorted into four tiers by a stated rule rather than by a decimal place.
Two decisions are packed into that sentence and both are arguable, so both are stated. The first is that the register is the entry ticket and the only one: a bookmaker the Gaming Commission of Ghana has licensed goes on the list whether or not we would open an account with it, because a reader searching a brand name deserves to find out what it publishes rather than to find nothing. The second is that the list is not shortened by editorial taste. Every other way of building a table in this market involves somebody deciding who is worth including, and that decision is invisible to the reader.
The one brand that is not here left the market: it stopped taking Ghanaian players on 1 January 2024 and is off the register. It gets a page saying so rather than a gap where a name should be.
The 18 questions
Every question below is answerable from what a bookmaker publishes, before anybody deposits anything. That is the whole test. There is no question here about whether an operator is generous, well run or trustworthy, because those are not things a reader can check and they are not things we can measure.

The five weights are the model this domain is registered with, and they decide which questions are asked rather than who comes out on top. A question counts once. There is no second weighting hidden one level down, because a model a reader cannot recompute from the page is not published.
The three answers
- Answered. The operator publishes it, on a surface anybody can open, and the fact base records where.
- Unanswered. Somebody looked and there was nothing. This is what a band is counted from.
- Does not apply. The product has no such thing. A book with no online wallet cannot be asked what withdrawing costs, and treating that as a silence would be an accusation rather than a finding.
That third state is why the bands are counted rather than scored. two books in this set run no casino and one has no online wallet at all, and a share or a percentage would quietly punish them for being narrow instead of describing them as narrow.
The bands

You can check what you are signing up to before you put money in. It is not a statement that the terms are good, and on one of these books they are not.
Leaves two or three unanswered.
Almost everything is checkable and the gaps are named. Read the gap before you deposit rather than after.
Leaves four, five or six unanswered.
The shape of the product is public and the detail is not. This is where most of the market sits, including its biggest brands.
Leaves seven or more unanswered.
You would be opening an account on terms you cannot read first. Several of these are large, established books, and the tier is about disclosure rather than about whether they pay.
About the rule itself
- What moves a bookmaker between tiers?
- One thing: the count of questions it leaves unanswered. Publish a withdrawal floor and the count drops by one. Put the playthrough on a page a reader can open and it drops again. Nothing an operator pays for and nothing an editor thinks moves it.
- Is a narrow product flattered by this rule?
- Yes, and openly. A book with no casino and no online wallet has seven fewer questions put to it, so it can reach the top band on a smaller sheet. The denominator is printed in every row for exactly that reason: read the unanswered count next to what applied, not on its own.
- What happens when a bookmaker starts publishing more?
- Its band changes on the next build, because the band is computed and not typed. No page on this site states a tier in prose that a template could work out.
- Why not just score them out of ten?
- We can, and the result is what argues against printing it. The registered books cluster so tightly that the ordering would be decided by rounding rather than by anything a reader would recognise as a difference. The measurement is on its own page.
